Thanks for the input LaMonteverde,

Maybe you would like to chime in on my plans....I keep going back and forth on whether I should try to cross that first day from Costa Rica to Nicaragua. I think now I will try...the more I read about Granada and Nicaragua, the more my speed it seems. I loved Honduras, though most told me I wouldn't like it. I found the people friendly and laid back. Nicaragua seems a lot like that.

By the way, you seem like you know the border well, will getting there around 5:00pm be a mistake? It doesn't close down does it? I've lined up transpo for the Nicaraguan side to Granada. I'm just worried about the process itself as my Spanish is not good. I know enough to get along....but if they through big questions at me at the border.....that's another story!
