Flights from Central America to Jamaica

I am planing my trip through some countries in Central America. Before I have to fly back home I want to go to Jamaica.

Does anybody has a clue what is the best (cheap, direct) connection to fly in?
I am flexible and could fly from Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama or Cancun.

I'm not sure about price, but COPA, the airline of Panama, flights almost everywhere with good connection and good service.

Also Grupo Taca, but Copa is better.

From San Jose airport is no direct flight to Jamaica. Panama City i think has direct connection.

Copa's web site lists flights from Guatemala to Kingston. But it is having some problem and wouldn't take me beyond there. When you are able to get a price... compare it to flying via Miami. Sounds crazy but lots of folks report their best deals that way. just a lot more competition.
