Hey brain trust,
Is it possible (and how bad would the roads be) to drive from Jimenez to Uvita mid-September in a rental vehicle?
....4x4, of course... Or is it a better idea to fly up to San Jose and drive down? TIA

The roads are surfaced almost the entire way, figure 3 hours. I would be concerned more about being in Corocvado that time of year, lots of rain. Park closed for month for October....
