I can understand a policy of not allowing Prostitutes to join a registered guest, as it presents a security issue, not to mention a odd situation for other guest. Many countries, and better hotels, have such a policy.

But the No Gays is very backward, and think thats discriminating against a group that should be welcomed like everyone else, whats next, Jews or Muslims?

I agree with Tim. And it saddens me to know that this is the way it is in what I would have considered to be an otherwise pleasant place to stay on my upcoming trip. I definitely won't be staying there now. No, pgincr, my husband and I are NOT gay. We just don't like your policy on gay guests. However, let the rest of us not show our bad manners by hurling insults on pgincr. The comments pgincr made speak loudly for themselves on this forum, will echo through out the travel community and I'm guessing will have their own impact on their business without the rest of us sinking to new depths.

Casa girasol is a pleasant place to stay at. We are thanks full for all supporters but also sorry for all of you who don't understand our standing and our position.

Casa Girasol is not a hotel nor a hostel, Casa Girasol is everyones travelers house, a guest house for youth travelers mainly Latin Americans, Europeans and other north American students some university graduates looking for educated trips though our country. All are very welcomed, as such, we must have a few rules and decadence does not mix with our policy.

Its a safe heaven our community with much detailed information for the right groups, we feel very sorry to have caused inconvenience to some communities and wont fight over being slain nor kicked out of LP forums, but our policy stands.

Thank you all, understanding for our positions and for others who do not support us so much, we don't hold any grudge, cheers to all.
