We will be coming from Dominical area & had planned on Drakes Bay. We will not be diving, but wouldn't mind snorkeling at Cano. Since we will be driving, is it best to stay in Drakes Bay area (from Sierpe) or is it better to try to get to PJ / Carate area? Our trip length is Jan 18th until Feb 3rd, with 3-4 nocs in this area, with budget of $60-$80 pp/noc. Thanks!

You need to leave the car in Sierrpe and take the boat to DB.

Going all the way to Pt Jimene in not easy either.

There is NO need for a car at either place.
