anyone stayed there and can pass on an opinion? We are looking at renting their largest house which comes with a kitchen. Any other recommendations for houses to rent in Cahuita would be appreciated.

Looking for room for three adults and two children with a kitchen and within walking distance to the beach. We would like to spend about $500/week, do not need airconditioning, tv or internet...just relative comfort without a lot of luxury.

My wife and I stayed there in January. The owners, Sophia and Martin are really nice people. The gardener brings you fresh bananas and other fruit during the day as you lay around the pool. There's also lots of wildlife on the property. mainly sloths, birds, etc. 50 feet down the lane is Brigitte's, it's an internet cafe and the breakfast is good and quite cheap if I remember correctly. The smaller cabins have cooking facilities as well as the bigger house. We are already booked for February. If you book it say hello to both of those nice people for us.
