I arrive in Belize City at about 11am and am travelling to Cancun. Am I right in thinking that I’ll have to get a bus to Chetumal and spend the night there before catching another bus the next morning to Cancun? I’m a female travelling alone and do not speak any Spanish, is it easy enough to navigate the bus station in Belize City?

our family will be travelling to Belize in December on our way to Guatemala. Our children will be aged 4 yrs old and 7 months old.

We are planning to spend some time chilling out in Caye Caulker after the overland journey from Cancun. Could anyone recommend a family-friendly and safe budget accommodation on Caye Caulker?

From Caye Caulker, is it feasible to do a day trip to the Belize Zoo or Crooked Tree Wildlife Sancturary? We would rather not stay in Belize City if we can avoid it.

In planning our first trip this December my partner and I have noticed a disparity of opinion as to whether this dive is worth the price. Some say it is too dark and deep and gloomy, some like it. What's the weather like in Belize in June? I've heard mixed reports that go from fine, fine with one or two heavy showers (but short ones) in the day, all the way to horribly humid and storm-ridden.

I'm planning our honeymoon and really want to mix the beaches with the Mayan history. But should I save this for a trip at a better time of year to avoid the bad weather?

We just had a visitor who stayed in Tina's. There is new management, a German lady named Susanne. She closed the place for 8 days and repainted, put in new mattresses and new towels. It is now very nice and clean and a great place for budget travelers to stay and meet other travelers.

My parents have decided that they want to travel to Belize for thier 25th anniversary for approximately 2 weeks next spring (They are 60 & 53). They are not backpackers and have never been to a developing nation. They were hoping to do a "all-inclusive" type trip but from my knowledge Belize isnt really the place for that....maybe Im wrong - Ive never been to Central A.

I'm planning a trip to Belize for March 2011. We wanted to stay on Caye Caulker but are interested in some of the late night party spots in Ambergris. Does anyone know if there is anyway to travel between the Cayes at night? Seems like the water taxis stop running around late afternoon.
