I am looking to take a trip at the beginning of December for 10 days. I am going to a wedding in Riviera Maya on the 1st and I was planning on staying for a couple days and visiting the beaches and local Mayan Ruins. I was going to take a bus from there to Belize and stay a few days there and then fly into Costa Rica to finish off the trip. I need some help/advice.
Is this too much to do in a short time and if so should I go to Belize or Costa Rica? I also wanted some information on…

I'm heading to Caye Caulker in a couple of weeks time. I'll be coming from Tulum, Mexico, and traveling overland on a budget. What is the best/fastest/cheapest way to get there? I was thinking of crossing the border at Chetumal and then taking a bus to Belize City, before getting a boat out to the Cays. Is it possible/faster to get a boat from further North near the border? I'm looking for quality scuba diving experiences. Has anyone done scuba diving in Belize, and if so, how is it? I'm reading that it may be expensive due to transportation costs to get to scuba worthy sites, and that those sites aren't close to Caye Caulker. Also, the reviews on the diving there seem to be mixed. Does anyone have any experience they can share?
My main purpose in visiting Belize would be for scuba. If that is the case, what is your opinion. Is it worth it?

I'm wondering if anyone can advise on my travel plans between Belize International Airport and San Pedro. I'll be there with my boyfriend for just a few days (Friday morning to Sunday afternoon), and in order to maximize our time there, I want to know if it's best to fly from BZE to SPR directly, or if it's best to try and use the water taxi's that are available. We are all meeting up in PG on Sat/Sun Nov 16-17, which is right during the Battle of the Drums festival from my understanding. Anyone have some suggestions for the best way to enjoy the celebration? Flying to Belize City and will be spending a few days there before making our way to Guatemala and Honduras. Can anyone recommend clean rooms in Belize City or Caye Caulker. Hi folks, first time going to Belize and would like to go right over to San Ignacio in the Cayo District as soon as I arrive from Belize City. How do you get from the Philip Golden Airport to San Ignacio? Do you have to take a taxi to the bus station or is there a cheaper way of doing it?
