Winter in Belize, but where? Help!

hello everyone!
My wife and I are going to spend this Winter (Dec - April) in Belize and hoping you and offer some direction / advice.

We both love the beach so would prefer a beach / island location. We will be on a budget and don't wanna spend a fortune, need wifi access, good fresh foods, and great ocean vibes. We like to dance and swim ad socialize, and love peace and quiet as well.

Please, what locations do you recommend?

I would say that you have three choices for extended stays near the water. The northern islands Ambergris and Caye Caulker, Hopkins, or Placencia. I would do some research on each place and come back here with specific questions.
