Good evening!

I'm continuing to work out details for my Honeymoon in late August/early Sept to Belize. We will be staying 5 nights outside of San Ignacio and then 5 nights at Caye Caulker.
Right now, I'm researching tours, and would appreciate feedback.

In the Cayo, I plan on using PACZ to visit ATM cave and Tikal. I would like to have one other "activity" planned. Do you have any recommendations of other tours/activities to do?
My partner really wants to go Zip Lining, but I've only seen it paired with Cave Tubing, which I'm not so sure about.

In Caye Caulker, I know that I want to do the Hol Chan/Shark Ray full day trip. I've compared tour offerings from both Raggamuffin and Tsunami Adventures, do you have a preference for either?
I don't dive, but I am interested in a few more snorkel trips. Tsunami's website lists Long Caye/Gallow's Point, & Sergeant/Goff's/St. Georges Caye, & Great Blue Hole/Half Moon Caye, & Turneffe Atoll. I have no idea the differences between these locations, and can't find a lot of info on them. Is there one that you would recommend?

Thank you!

I'd spend at least a night in Guatemala for Tikal and some less-visited ruins in the area. Consider contacting Roxy Ortiz - she's an amazing guide. If caves really interest you, here's one I haven't visited yet but it looks gorgeous: Actun Chapat. We enjoyed canoing on the Macal and floating down the Mopan on inner tubes, too. If art interests you, maybe you can arrange a visit to Poustinia - the earth sculpture park in Cayo District. The Zoo is worth a stop and Caves Branch has some amazing adventures.

We did the Raggamuffin sailing/snorkling day trip and it was awesome; I can't compare though. Whatever you decide, have a great trip! Congratulations!

I can only add comments from friends who have said Hol Chan is #1 and Half Moon Caye & Turneffe Atoll were good for snorkelling.

I've never been cave tubing in Belize , but I've been wild caving (spelunking) in other countries and watched the tourists float by on their inner tubes -- looked easier than what I was doing! What aren't you sure about?

Thanks for the advice. Are there any good websites that describe the different reefs and atolls?

Where I live, the main summer activity is floating down the river on a tube. I'm sure that it would be different because of the river, the environment, etc., but I would rather spend my money on something different.

I would recommend waiting until you get to Caye Caulker to book snorkel trips. There are so many operators to choose from there is no need to book in advance. We used Blackhawk tours (they don't have a website). They had a great sailboat and we did 2 tours with them, a half day to the local reef and a full day to Hol Chan (which was awesome, and ended with us sailing back at sunset. Spectacular) You can find them next to Da Real Macaw cabanas on the front road, just ask for Steve. The friend I travelled with snorkeled Hol Chan 3 times (while I lazed in a hammock) and said she saw different things each time, so maybe no need to go to different places

Jazzy - Can you tell me more about the sailing trip with Blackhawk - when you went, number on board, how many stops, what the guides were like, and if they served food? I've done the trip with Raggamuffin and am trying to decide on a day trip when I'm there with friends next summer. Thanks in advance!
