My husband and I are going to Caye Caulker for about a five day stay and are hoping to find a small cabin to the South of the town, away from the crowded areas. I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at the Coconut Grove or some place similar. We would like to spend $60-$90/night and not be in the busy part of the island.
Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!

We did not stay at Coconut Grove but did rent a place through CayeCaulkerRentals. We stayed at Piquitololo and really enjoyed it. Its not a stand alone property like coconut grove ( the property owner lives upstairs) but if it is any indication of the other properties rented out by this company then I would go for it. The south side of the island is a bit quieter which was nice and it really isn't a far walk to get anywhere (including the split). Best of luck and if Coconut Grove isn't available I again would recommend Piquitololo and cayecaulkerrentals in general.

Have a nice trip

We stayed in Maxhapan cabanas, $50/night, and it was lovely. They have only 3 rooms, one is a stand alone cabin and two other are in a second cabin. Very quiet, clean and in a beautiful garden.
