Organic foods in Belize

There's tons of organic produce available in the markets, especially in smaller towns, but it won't be labeled as such. Most of what's grown in Belize is organic by default, simply because farmers can't afford the chemical fertilizers or pesticides to produce non-organic food. A notable exception is the Mennonites, who follow a very US-midwest approach to agriculture.

As far as meats or packaged foods goes, I can't help you.
