Seems like too many good options. Looking at Table Rock, Black Rock, and Moonracer for lodging for 4 nights.
They all look great from their websites and reviews. Part of our desire is to be somewhere where we don't have to leave everyday for a tour, where it is comfortable and interesting to go out for hikes and bikes and river trips (though don't know if the Macal will be running too high in July?) right from the lodge.
Any feedback from people who have stayed in these lodgings.
Thanks!

The Macal is apt to run high in July since it's rainy season, but that varies from year to year and since they put the dam up. I think you might want to read up a bit in a guide book if you're really wanting to be in the Mt. Pine Ridge since the lodges you name aren't all in that location. Check out Lan Sluder's wonderful accommodation download. Good luck!

TR and BRL are not in the Mtn Pine Ridge and Moonracer is near the reserve, but not in it. If you want to stay in the MPR, look at Hidden Valley Inn, Blancaneaux or Five Sisters. However, both BRL and TR are on the Macal, BRL is denser forest, TR on the esge of Christo Rey Village. Macal will be fine for canoeing in July, HVI is on 7200 acres with 90 miles of hiking and mtn biking trails.
