Dear all

We'll be travelling almost a month in Belize, starting in 3 days and have some last minute questions.

We'll first spend a week in Ambergris Caye to soak up the sun. On the 25th of March I planned on transfering to Sartenja and the plan thereafter would be as follows:
26th Sartenja
27th Sartenja to Orange Walk with bus
28th New river trip to Lamanai
29th Transfer to and visit Crooked Tree, transport?
30th Transfer to Community Baboon and visit it, transport?
31th Transfer to Belize Zoo and visit, accommodation?, transport?
1st Zoo to San Ignancio, transport?
2nd San Ignacio
3rd San Ignacio
4th Transfer to Dangriga for South water caye or other caye, transport?
8th transfer to Placencia or Hopkins for beach time
12th transfer to Belize
13th fly out 11:35am

I know I have a lot of beach time in the above itinerary, but think with learing to kite in Ambergris, snorkeling, diving and the odd excursion time should fly. Is the middle part of the trip too rushed? My main question is, whether it is doable with public buses or if we should rent a car in Orange Walk. Or change the itinerary completely?

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

The zoo will take you about 2 hours. Too much time there.
