Express buses from Belize City to San Ignacio

Hello,

We're in Caye Caulker on our first visit to Belize and absolutely loving it!

Tomorrow we head to San Ignacio. I keep reading that there are several express buses a day from Belize City to San Ignacio but can't find a Web site that lists what time those buses leave. Knowing when they depart will help us figure out which water taxi to take from Caye Caulker to Belize City (we want to spend as little time sitting around in the bus station as possible... sounds like it's in a not-so-great neighborhood).

Thanks for any help or pointing us in the right direction!

Generally speaking the buses leave every hour from Belize City to San Ignaciao. The buses are often late however, so we just showed up to the bus station and caught a bus 10 min later. The last bus from Belize to SI leaves around 8pm.
