Hello,

I'm going to be backpacking through Belize and I'm trying to cut down as much as possible on lodging costs? Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap hostel/ B & B/budget hotel in the area? So far I'm mostly finding places that seem a little pricey.

I've stayed at the Sea Spray for about BZ$50 a night.

I think Lydia's Guesthouse is cheaper. Also check Deb & Dave's.
And check this site for lower budget places...

While walking along The Sidewalk in Placencia, I saw many more cheap places that are not advertised on the internet.
