We will be in Bermuda in June for 8-10 nights. We can’t find a place less that $120 (including all fees). We were hoping to pay $80 or less per night. Does anyone have a good suggestion?

I've searched a little around, and have not found a post where people rate each destination in the Caribbean....Basically, I want to give my mom the best vacation of her life. She is 55, likes beaches, relaxing, and more luxurious accomodations. We don't want throngs of people, or a huge party atmosphere, but a little nightlife would be nice to seek out, if we wanted to--I don't normally travel like this, but I want to make it the best for her. I leave in one week for Puerto Rico. I have been told that there is a really excellent restaurant on the hill in Old San Juan but the teller didnt remember the name. She said that the three people locally she had asked for really good local food all gave her the same recomendation. Anyone know what the name of this place could be? I am sure I will not go wrong by just asking around when I am there but thanks for the feedback.

hello all, i am along with my family- wife , two children(9 and 6) off to bahamas on 9 november for 7 days. now , the big question is where can the kids bodysurf, find great snorkelling , have great walks , pure tropical surounds , nice and quiete peaceful beaches , good musical scene- u know some real nice place and i would like the marine life..thanks and would appreciate any response. warren

My brother and I are looking at spending about two weeks in the Caribbean in early January 08, and were hoping to spend it sailing through some of the islands. Our budget for this part of the trip would be roughly $1000us. We're looking for any advice on whether this budget is feasible and how/where we could organise it. We're not after anything luxurious and are more than prepared to help onboard.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know of a cheap place to stay on Monserrat besides the hostel?? I'm traveling with my family next year and would like more private lodging. We can't wait to see the volcano after passing Montserrat by cruise ship and falling for the beauty of Antigua.

Hi, I'm interested in visiting the DR sometime between December and March '08 for about a week. I'm not sure however which part is best for me. I did a little searching so far and the Samana area looks nice, but i read that the airport is only served by canadian and european airlines - is that correct? And the main alternative is a 4 hour bus ride, i think (from Santo Domingo?). So i'm trying to find other options.

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Trinidad and Tobago and then possibly onto Venezuela in August. We're flying into Tobago and are in the process of planning our ittinery. When we get there, we plan to travel up the North coast to Castara for a couple of days of chillaxing. We've then planned to travel accross to Speyside for a week of scuba diving.

Greetings all. I'm going to be headed to PR in mid june for a week with two friends (we're debating between there and DR). We live in New York, so we're not interested in spending any time in any of the big cities. We mostly just want to relax on a nice beach. We're all around 30, and single, so a nice beach that has a bit of nightlife would be preferable, but nothing too crazy or overrun.
