Will be visiting Bermuda in April & would like to see a Gombey performance but have read that there are none before May. Is there anywhere we could see them?

I am heading down to T and T from the US to hide from the cold for a month or two and explore the islands. We're headed to Dominican Republic for a week in late February with no plan. Because we're on a tight budget, we figured we'd take the cheapest flight we could find in. With so many airport options, does it matter which one we fly into? We haven't lined up accommodation yet and will just look for low-end guest houses or whatnot, but we weren't sure if we should explicitly avoid any specific airport. Along the same lines, is it worth renting a car there or is intra-city transit decent?
