Winnifred Beach update

I spoke with Cynthia this evening. Winnifred survived Dean with minimal damage. Painter and Cynthia's restaurant survived. Many of the smaller shops were damaged or destroyed but are being rebuilt or have already been replaced. The trees are stripped of foliage but are still standing. She asked me to tell all friends of the beach that our friends there are safe and they are ready for visitors. Long Bay is still cleaning up and the roads are dreadful but Portland is open for visitors.
