Did you guys do any research about Jamaica before you when there ?
I am assuming that "walk" you made at night in MoBay was to Pier One restaurant.
It was a bad decision on your part to have choosen that route. You were lucky !

I usually over-research my trips ad nauseum (drives my wife crazy!). A trip to the beach in Jamaica didn't seem like it needed the full approach.

Yes, I think it was Pier One, I don't remember the name exactly, but it was out on the pier in Mo Bay.

All in all, nothing to worry about. It was all in my head...

Just curious why the OP was edited and had their link to the blog taken out?
