Hey, some of you might remember our posts this last year as our family sailed our boat down through the Caribbean from Martinique to South America. Had lots of cool times sailing, snorkeling, jamming on guitars, fishing & BBQing with travelers who hopped aboard for some of the adventure with us. Well, we finally ran out of dough and are back on terra firma once again slaving and saving up for the next leg of the journey. Since it was so cool the last time we were thinking before heading on up the coast of Central America that we might try doing the Caribbean thing one more time - only this time starting a bit further north up in the Virgin Islands before sliding downhill again to S. America. Lots of cool islands we missed the first time: Virgins, Guadeloupe, Dominica along with the ones we hit the last time like St. Lucia, St. Vincent, the Grenadines, Grenada, Los Testigos, Isla Margarite, etc. If this sounds interesting to any adventurers out there we are planning on doing it again not this winter (07- 08) but the next winter & spring (08 -09 ... we need to save some serious $ first!) and you are welcome to join us. Like last time we just ask that you kick in a bit for food & fuel, we take care of everything else. The actual itinerary is still up in the air so if you want to drop me a note with your own ideas, or just want to share in the pre-voyage planning & fun, it would be great hearing from you.
