Alright so my girlfriend and I are looking for some well-deserved R&R so we’re looking for an adults only topless (or possibly clothing optional) resort. We’ve done a little searching and realize we could use some advice from people who have been to some of these places. We have a few requirements:
A good party vibe. We both like to go out for drinks and dance and stuff so having a good atmosphere for going out in the evenings is a must. We would need a good club somewhere on the resort because that would allow some more revealing (less clothing involved) outings. However, a good party scene at places outside the resort would be great too. We’ve been to Cancun once before and really like Senor Frog’s and Cocobongo if that helps.
A younger crowd. We’re both in our mid 20’s and would like some place where most people are younger than 40. This seems like it might be a little hard to find given the requirement below which is the main reason I’m asking the forum here.
A good adult atmosphere. I’m assuming that this is going to happen as long as it’s a topless (or tops optional) resort but I just thought I’d throw it in here. We’re not swingers so we’re not looking for anything too crazy but we would like somewhere where having fun in public isn’t completely frowned upon. It looks like many resorts a policy where fun by the pool is allowed (possibly encouraged) especially in the evening and this would be great (even if it wasn’t encouraged but still allowed). We would definitely want somewhere where we could make out (among other things) on the dance. On the other hand we’re not looking for a constant orgy or anything. We’re never done one of these resorts before so this is a little hard to gage from the descriptions different resorts give. Also it looks like some places are topless and some are clothing optional, we don’t really care which we go to as long as it meets all of other needs. However, like I said in number 2, it seems that the more “adult” you get the older the crowd you’re hanging out with gets and we would like to be around people our age if possible.
Fun stuff to do during the day. Let’s be honest, no one can handle romance for 24 hours a day for an entire week (at least no one older than 16) so we’re going to need stuff to do during the day. So fun stuff is necessary. I think my girlfriend went to Xplor Adventure Park last time she was in Cancun and liked it so we’d be into stuff like that (zip lining, cliff jumping and ATVs) and also stuff like snorkelling tours would be great.
Good food. We like to eat so decent food is a must. We don’t need it to be world class (although that would be a huge plus) but some places seem to lack a little bit in the exciting food category so we don’t want any of those.
Safety. Cancun seemed safe enough so I don’t think safety will be an issue at any of these places but we’re here to relax and let loose so we don’t want anywhere scary.
The location isn’t a big issue. Anywhere in Mexico or the Caribbean would be great. Possibly central America if there was somewhere amazing there.
So yeah, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
