Looking for reviews and recommendations for hotels in Negril. I love Tensing Pen and Rockhouse from the pictures online however they are booked during the dates we are looking to travel. Any suggestions appreciated!

Similar feel to those - Catcha Falling Star (have stayed there 3x), Xtabi (if you can get a seaside cottage)...

Well we are looking to go in March and I prefer to spend no more than $100 a night but have a little wiggle room. "Ohiz" why the seaside cottage? Isn't that big for only 2 people?

I think the seaside cottages at Xtabi are more like the units at Rockhouse and Tensing Pen than the garden rooms. You said you like those hotels so that's why I mentioned it.
The garden rooms are fine too and also in your price range. If you can get one of the upper/lower seaside units, I think rooms 7 and 8 - that is one seaside cottage split into two units that might be under $100. Friends of mine stay there every year, it's a lovely room (the upstairs at least).
I don't think Rockhouse, Tensing Pen or Catcha have much if anything under $100 a night in high season.
You might also look into Citronella, Sea Grape and Heartbeat.
