Howdy,

I am heading to Negril in early Jamaica (I really hope the airline does not go on strike, as that is how I am travelling).

I bike all around NYC - including Manhattan and Brooklyn- so I am use to cars/people/skateboarders/taxis/tourists that like to get in the way. Will I have any problems along the main road in Negril? I have heard cars are not too mindful when it comes to bikes. Also, can any one recommend a good bike shop?

I also really love reggae. Great venues to check out? I am a particular fan of dub.

Many thanks.
Ruth

I'm not a biker, but I would be particularly careful from the roundabout out to the lighthouse on the the West End Road. Drivers fly down the road that is a bit curvy and narrow.
Negril Escape on the West End Road has been having weekly concerts of well know Reggae stars.

Regards.

You are an experience biker, so you should not have any problem biking in Negril.
The main road is just one long winding road.
ONE LOVE !!
