Hi!

I want to take my chances with the northern lights in Canada in September. My original goal was to get as close as possible to the magnetic northpole with my meager means (public transport and hostels). I have found some nice options, like Churchill and Dawson city, but they don't really work as well as I wish, since instead of doing a Northern lights tour I prefer to stay longer (about a week) and then go out and watch them away from city lights. This does not seem possible in Churchill…

A new bike, but a second hand bargain, bought to tour Canada, used for this purpose only one month, available in the middle of September.
Anyone interested in buying it, please let me know.

My wife, who will be 5.5 months pregnant, and I will be taking a 4.5 day "Babymoon" trip to Banff/Lake Louise area in early September. I have a few things already on the list to see in Banff (Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive), Lake Louise (Moraine Lake), and Icefields Parkway (Bow Lake, Mt. Columbia Icefield).

Problem is she can't really hike so I need sights where you can drive up or not have to walk too far. Any suggestions?

I was also wondering if anyone had some recommendations…

Hey guys

So I'm over in Canada for a wedding in October and i have around 10 days to myself inbetween wedding commitments.
I've travelled a lot of Canada - BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec... But I've never been East coast. I'd love to spend some time in NFL or NS.
I appreciate weather will be a little unpredictable but I've done a winter in your fine country so I know what to expect.

In the past I have used Moose Travel Network for tours when travelling alone, and wanting to join a group. But…

Hi all,

I'd really value any advice from people who have previously worked the winter season in Whistler! I'm 26 & from the UK, going solo (and have never skiied... don't tell anyone)
I've got my IEC visa and planning flights at the moment, been scouring the LP forums (and internet in general!) but can't find the answers I'm looking for. Would love to find out:

1) I can only make it out to the last Whistler Blackcomb job fair of the season - on October 30th/31st. As it's the last fair of the…

Hi there,

Looking to make a road trip from Calgary to Vancouver over about a week, and interested in renting a campervan or something similar. Does anyone recommend any affordable van rentals that would go the distance?

Thanks!

Hello,

I am 22 year old male engineer and mountain biker that will have around a month off from mid August to mid September and am planning on driving up to British Columbia. Any advice on the following areas would be greatly appreciated: rotating between camping and hostels, any little things that locals do that would be worth checking out, finding people to ride with or meet up with at campsites (safely, as I have never done this before), how much cash you guys would carry at any one time…

Hello! I'm hoping to make a trip to Quebec City this fall and am interested in staying at a bed and breakfast in or close to the downtown historic district - does anyone have any suggestions (I'm open to a variety of price ranges)? Many thanks in advance for your help!
