We are planning to visit Canada in August with our two children 16yrs & 18yrs for 3 weeks. We want to make the most of our visit but also want to plan a realistic itinerary. Any ideas of must see's?

Hello!

In the 1st week of July, with Philadelphia as base we woul like to do Qubec city, Montreal and Candian side of Niagra. We would be 4/6 people. We are fine with driving, rail, bus.

My question is, what would be the best/economical route ? Is it best to fly in and out of Philly or is there a better/ cheaper option ? And what is the best way to do the Canadian cities internally? We plan to spend 9 days in all. Any other suggestions are welcome. :)

I understand this topic has been semi-addressed but was a few years old. My partner and I are wanting to do a snow season at the end of 2016. He will be able to leave anytime, however, due to my teaching contract her in Aust and some family health issues I will be able to arrive in Canada by End of December at the EARLIEST, possibly more towards the end of January! Will I struggle to find (snow) jobs around this time? We are looking anywhere in BC really. Anywhere with snow.

Also, as an…

I'm looking to travel to Canada for 4 weeks, I'm just starting my research now. Please excuse me if I seem naive. I'm thinking 5 days in 6 places, I understand some places don't need 5 days. I'm not even sure what season to travel in, weather doesn't really bother me.

I'm looking to see some major cities, experience the culture, major tourist attractions eg Niagara Falls.

See a hockey game.

Take in some picturesque country side, breathtaking views, experience the outdoors; hiking, fishing…

Hi all
New to forum. Travel on business to Canada every 6 weeks or so. Applied for ETA on Saturday, which was accepted. BUT I got an email today saying that on closer examination, this is now being withdrawn!
I am stunned and very apprehensive. Flying back to Toronto on Wednesday, hopefully.
NO reason has been given on the return email. Is it a mistake?
I have no criminal record, no help;at problems, plenty of spare cash and a business in Ontario!!

ANY help will make me sleep more easily

Thanks

I am planning a trip to Canada from South Africa for about 3 weeks at the end of September going into October. I am planning to start in Vancouver (Southern BC) and travel to Alberta (Banff, Jasper etc). I am a nature junkie and want to go off the beaten track as much as possible and not into the towns and cities if this can be avoided. I have family in Vancouver so will spend a couple of days with them. I am thinking of renting a car for a road trip across BC to Alberta. Also really hoping…

It'll be my family's first trip to Vancouver this July. We're looking to spend 4 nights in the city. We'll be driving there via the Olympics and ferrying it up. We have three daughters 9, 11, 13. We all love cities, walking, museums, international dining, parks. Want to be centrally located over the four days to allow some of the days to be car free. Don't mind driving for some excursions but really don't want to need it all the time.

What part of town might you suggest we look for an…

Me and my boyfriend are thinking of going to Canada for around 2 weeks in summer (July/August). We are from the Netherlands, and have never been to Canada. We're thinking of starting in Toronto, and would like to travel around, but at an easy pace. We like traveling by train, or bus.

Do you have any tips?
