Hi all - we're looking into a quick four day trip to PEI and wondering if it's easier and/or less stressful to base ourselves in Charlottetown for the whole time and do day trips from there? Or whether to maybe pick only a couple of places to stay in? I know it's small but not sure what the driving times are like (size of road, traffic, etc.) And maybe it's not as relaxing always packing up and checking in and out every night.

Has anyone spent this amount of time there and can comment?

Thanks…

Hey everyone!

My girlfriend and I, we are planning to discover BC and Ontario this summer!
We would like to see some city sights, but what we enjoy much more is disovering the nature. So we like to go around with bikes, like to walk in the muntains, we would like to do some rock climbing, some crazy adrenalin adventures, and etc etc....

We are planning to stay 1 month in BC then fly to Toronto and stay there another month!

So I am asking u for some advices first for Vancouve or better BC!
What…

Hi
My husband and I have 2 weeks to spend in Canada in the last week of August and first week of September. We'll be arriving by train from NY and have a flight out from Montreal 2 weeks later. We want to spend a few days in Montreal where we have friends so have about 10 days to explore east Canada. We like isolation, rugged, wild scenery and everything coastal; hiking, camping and swimming; interesting or out-of-the-way towns. We're not that into picturesque resort type places. We won't have a…

My husband, Son and I are needing to get from Seattle to Victoria. Are there any cheaper alternatives than the high speed ferry? It doesn't matter if it takes a little longer or takes a few detours....
.....We have 5 months in which we're going to get a van and just check out canada. we have absolutely no itinery, no place to be. We love mountains. Rock-climbing, hiking, walking, sea.....we're pretty outdoorsy people and although our son is only 3 he's pretty tough going anyway.
We're…

Hello,

I'm a 21 year old Swedish girl moving to the Yukon... on a grand total of $4000.00 CND. Will that be enough money to give me time to hunt for an apartment and a job? I have dual Swedish/Canadian citizenship and I speak English fluently. I've been in love with the Yukon since I visited on a backpacking trip and at this time in my life, I have the opportunity to go there and attempt living. I'm scared to death, but at the same time I would like this more than anything. Any advice would leave…

Did anyone know this? (aside from Terry)

"It is currently not a criminal offense in Canada to make recordings of movies in theaters for personal use"
"Filming inside a theatre is not a criminal offence in Canada"

Hi all,

I just moved to Ottawa, have a fancy-pants office job and am in desperate need of a haircut. I'm a 28yo male, not looking for a barber but rather a nice haircut from a good hairstylist. I'm quite happy to pay $30 before tip and would prefer to find a place within walking distance to Sandy Hill (ie: 30min walk or less). Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Andy
