travel from canada to belgium (or france)

Hi,

Family of 5 (parents & 3 kids 14-12-10) are coming to Belgium & France for a wedding end july begin august.
What would be a cheap way of flying over ? Are there any low budget airlines. Does'nt necessarily have to be to Brussels; can be any other airport.

I know Air Transat flies from various Canadian destinations to Brussels. BEsides that, the cheapest way might be to get one of those super low fares to Britain on flyglobespan or something like that and then a cheap flight from there to Belgium.
