Hey, has anyone ever done this?

Someone mentioned it to me, and it sounded pretty fun, but now I need information!

Heading to the East Coast in a few months, and want to give it a go...

I've done it in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Quite fun. On a water raft.

Yes, check out locations on the Bay of Fundy. Here is one example

Theres a spot here in Montreal, a permanent stand up wave. Dont attempt it if you cant surf, as you may end up in Gaspese.

Looks like it would be fun in a whitewater kayak but those big Zodiacs look boring.

Thanks Guys,

Kingpin: Yeah, I was wondering that myself, but they probably need the engine to keep up with the bore.

Can anyone speak to the "fun factor" of this? I did some wicked white-water rafting in NZ, curious if this would compare at all? Is it worth the $70?

It would not compare to white water rafting in NZ.
Its fun if you're not used to the outdoors adventure type of thing. Its fun for an afternoon, but an easily forgetable experience.
