Hey friendly road-trippers and travellers,
Me and a friend are traveling the East Coast of Canada for a bit and wanted to try hitch hiking and ride sharing... Do you have any tips where to look for ride shares and stuff like that?
And just in case someone plans to go up to Cape Breton Island on the 26th/27th we'd be happy to get a ride up there.
Cheers
Sophie

I drove right across Canada last October and in some 5000+ kilometers did not see a single hitch-hiker. Also on some limited access highways pedestrians are NOT allowed, at least that is so in Ontario.

I am planning to drive the Trans Canada highway and trans labrador highway then onto Halifax by what I hear the longest bridge in the world.
I am planning in a week or so.
If you and a friend still wants a ride....more than welcome. I be renting anyways an SUV.
Cheers!
