Hi all,

I'm flying to vancouver and staying around the area for about 11 days, and wanted to go to the rocky mountains for a few days too. I was just wondering what the best city/town would be to stay in to see the best bits.. also I'm only 21 so one that's not dead!

Banff for sure. Jasper's gorgeous, but you might find Banff has more entertainment. If you really want to see the best of the Rockies, make sure you do the Icefields Parkway. Absolutely breathtaking. And, if you're only in Vancouver for 11 days, you might find you run out of time to do all the area has to offer. It's an awesome part of the world IMO.
