They gave it a shot, but it appears they're about to come up short.

Ah well.Summer's here and it's time to forget about hockey and enjoy the warm weather.

Ciao.

I have tried hard to cheer for them, but they're not always easy to cheer for. Alfredsson's little stunt was amusing but not very sportsmanlike.

If anything, this just goes to show how much better the West is, on average, than the East right now. No doubt Detroit would be doing the same thing to Ottawa had they managed to beat Anaheim.

ridiculous, second week of June almost and hockey's still on.

I resent the insinuation that cheering for Ottawa is the "canadian" thing to do...what a steaming bag of BS. In fact, the ONLY reason I'm pulling for Anaheim is because I refuse to drink the kool-aid.

I hate anything that comes out of Ottawa, my tax dollars put the bums in the seats there, if it were not the Capital it would be a small farming town.

Besides the Ducks bounced out Vancouver (Vancouver, played better and harder than those wimps from Ottawa) so I to am pulling for the Ducks.

This is an East-West thing not a Canadian thing, eh!!!

Hockey should be finishing in late April at the lastest.... A June Stanley Cup is ridiculous.

I'm pretty ambivalent about this series.
I think it'd be cool if Ottawa wins - but could really care less.

What did Alfredson do??

Just as the period was ending, he drilled the puck at Scott Neidermayer and hit him in the tummy.
It did not look accidental.

It's about as relevant to life as who will win the next American Idol...
