Hi all,

I have been trying to find a good route from Toronto up to Terra Nova and Gros Morne in Newfoundland. I want to start in the north of Newfoundland and then work my way down south.

Can you give input into what routes to head up north directly, and where ferry can be caught from there?

Also, any recommendations on points along the way, I plan to take 3 days to drive there, most likely, so would need to find a hotel for 1st night and 2nd night.

Thanks greatly for any help.

See the attached map. I think it might require a bit more than three days / two nights.

Thanks for pulling up the map for me. I actually have as long as I want to take, no time frames restricting me.

Well in that case spend a couple of nights in each of Montréal and Québec City, and after skipping through fairly uninteresting New Brunswick, explore Nova Scotia ... very attractive.

And you catch the ferry to NL from North Sydney.

Oh oh! I can hear the Acadians crying in their Pump House Blue Berry beers now.. Uninteresting New Brunswick Hahah! Oh boy.

Well ... I thought it was a bit unfair when I wrote it (like "flyover" states) ... but to be honest, having driven the length and breadth of the province, I'm having trouble recalling anything interesting. The ferry trip to Campobello perhaps.

When I was a kid I thought the reversing falls and the magnetic hill were awesome.

Where are those 2 places located?

(Un) Interesting New Brunswick: Saint John and Moncton, to be specific.

We did enjoy Bay of Fundy NP ... it's interesting without being spectacular.
