Montreal - Hotel Y - parking in area

Hello,

We have a trip booked for Montréal, and currently are looking at Hotel Y near the Bell Centre. I called the hotel direct and they said they don't have their own parking onsite, and they have mentioned a garage that's CA$20/day across the street. Does anybody know if there any options for parking in this area with in/out privileges (vs. having to pay every time we leave the garage)? I have called a couple hotels already who said they allow in/out privileges for their guests but not for others, for example.

Then the simple solution would be to book one of the two hotels that allow in/out privileges !

The in/out privilege hotels are far more costly than the Hotel Y (which is CA$85/night - about US$65 at current conversion rates). Not going to pay an additional $100/night for a hotel, doubt we'd run up that much in garage costs!

A simple search for Montreal parking came up with this site http://montreal.bestparking.com/ I cannot vouch for its accuracy but it gives some idea what is in Hotel Y's area. This is a traditional commercial/shopping district so it would be unusual to find in-out privileges unless the ramp had a business arrangement with the hotel. And some parking facilities will be closed Sunday.
