I really hope someone can help me decide :) I'm coming to Canada on 27th April for 15 days. I want to do a fair bit of cycling and kayaking whenever possible. I came across a few trails that I would love to do but I really can't choose. Additional difficulty is renting a bike that I could drop off at another location.
So here are the options:

1) Quebec - somehow get to La Pocatiere and then cycle to Riviere du Loup and then to Parc National du Bic then back to Quebec -> Ottawa

2) Quebec to Laurentian Mountains - do some cycling there. Was also thinking hiking but would it be safe to do it on my own?

3) Kingston towards Toronto - around 300km by Ontario Lake. Same issues with bike rental. This route is part of the Ontario's Waterfront Trail

4) Skipping all of the above and spending 3-4 solid days in Algonquin Provincial Park doing kayaking, hiking and cycling

I really need to make a decision soon so any comments much appreciated :) thank you in advance!

Personally I know nothing about cycling tourism, but this site might help you: Vélo Québec

Have a nice trip

Some trails still have snow in early May. Some lakes are still covered with ice.

The train runs from Windsor to Mont-Joli, then inland to New Brunswick. Personally, I'd ride east from Quebec City and take the train back. Some loops:

Ottawa - MTL on either side of the Ottawa river.
Ottawa - St-Lawrence river - MTL - Ottawa
Train east of Quebec City and loop around Gaspésie, on highway 132 or 299. Expect serious hills.

Are you camping?
