Hi, I'm from the town of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (south of Montreal) and I wand to do a road trip across all of Canada up to Vancouver. I know that we have a lot of beautiful natural park, and I want to visit some of them (like Banff), but I'm really more of a people person and I would really like to meet my fellow Canadians. So, what I'm asking is, what is the best way to meet people while travelling trough Canada? What are the most welcoming towns on the way to Vancouver? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Ps. Sorry for my poor english, as you can see, it's not my native language (I speak french by the way)

How about flying to Vancouver, perhaps using Trek America Canada, and staying in hostels?

Even if you do drive the whole way, hostels are good - you would meet both fellow Canadians and a lot of international travellers.

Agree, hostels are a good way to meet people. And since you speak French, why not make a point of visiting French-speaking communities along the way, for example, Saint-Boniface, Manitoba.
