Hi there, so I'm from Canada but my boyfriend is here on his.. 4th? Canadian work visa. He says australians can get unlimited working visas to canada until their 30 but i have heard otherwise. Does anyone have a clue what the rule is??
Thank you!

I don't know if this is the actual link you need but it's in the general area...

"As an Australian citizen, you may participate in the Working Holiday category only once. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you may participate in IEC one more time through the International Co-op (Internship) category."
It's ONCE and for up to two years in the Working Holiday category. Either rules have changed, your boyfriend has entered under different visa categories (quite possible) or he is in violation of the regulations. I suspect they would easily catch someone trying to re-apply, so I suspect he's gotten different types of visas and/or the rules have changed. It might have been unlimited before, but only once now.

This used to be the case. If your BF entered Canada before the rules changed, he could be eligible for another two year visa. If not, start working on residency. I have a lot of Aussie friends here in Fernie.
When did the rules change? He has been here since November 2014. Has had a couple visas as well before this one.
