Does anyone have info on what Kasindi is like? Accommodations, camping, food, friendly, safe? I will be traveling from Kampala to Kasindi (I hear there is a 7 hour bus ride?) and will need to stay over 1 night in Kasindi before meeting friends.
Hi, I found this company, African Impact, on the internet. They have been very friendly on the telephone as well as via email. I was wondering if anyone has ever had any experience with them; good or bad? I will be traveling with this company from Kenya to Uganda. We will be stopping at various campsites and then volunteering in Uganda.
Thanks,
Lisette
Hey,
I am from Holland and will be going to Zanzibar soon. I am trying to find some information on visas. I know I need a visa and that it will take at least 3 days for it to be processed. However with my job as a flight attendent, I cannot hand in my visa cause I need it all the time for work. So my question is, can I get a visa on arrival?? Tried to call the embassy but only get a prerecorded tape with information. I believe I need a separate visa for zanzibar as well right??
Can anyone help me…
Hi to you all,
I am planning to travel from London to Marrakech by driving my car, via France and Spain on or around the 14th Feb 2007. If there is any one who travelled before by this route, please, help me by giving me the shortest route directions and any advice that might be useful. I would be very grateful if I would be advised about the things that I should do and those I shouldn't do or avoid doing them. I am open to any useful advice, no matter its degree of importance.
Even better, if I…
Hi All,
I am trying to choose between the Zambezi Wateront and Jolly Boys. Now cost is not an issue, however I want what represents value for money, any feedback on these two places?
Also I have heard many postive reviews on both places but can people give me more a critical report i.e are the rooms clean or grubby etc, are there bed bugs, is there a safety issue being near the water i.e pressence of crocs etc.

Hi there,
Has anyone stayed at the Windsor hotel in downtown Cairo recently?Any feedback would be greatly appreciated before we make a decision on where to book.Thanks.
Could anyone update me on Zanzibar. Is there any unrest that travellers should be concerned about. Safety issues?
What do people think of the Matemwe Bungalows? Any suggestion of other interesting places to stay, with lots of character and near great beaches?
Thanks,
Sue
I'm about to start a course in sustainable architecture with the aim of selling up in London and moving to Africa to build an eco-lodge. From your collective experiences where in Africa would you settle/invest if you had the option?
So far I've got a provisioal shortline of Cape Verde and Madagascar. It's early stages, but I'll love to hear some ideas. A progressive economy (property investment-wise) and a good lifestyle are 2 important tick-boxes.
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a flat to rent in Cairo for one to two months. Any idea of the price, how to find one?
We need 2 separate beds.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Marie
Hi,
My wife and I are going to be in Marrakesh (and Essouria hopefully) in March and we're really excited about the food. We've read a bit about Yacout and I'm wondering what you guys think of the place. Is it good, authentic, worth it? I'm sure it's geared towards tourists but is it too over-the-top? Would you suggest going to another place? We're looking for a really good place that is memorable. I'm okay with splurging one time, but if it's not worth the splurge then I'd like to find another…
