Hello, I am going on a trip to Europe in June and July. I am thinking about going to Morocco when I go. I will be in Spain fpr a while. I am thinking of flying into Marrakech from Barcelona, and then taking public transport up to Casablanca, and from there to Milella so I can take the ferry to Malaga. I want to go to Malaga so I can go to Granada and Seville.
I have a number of questions, and would be appreciative of some good answers. If you can't answer them all, then answering one or a…
Hi all,
I've tried emailing Air Egypt, Misr travel and Wagons- Lits to book train or flights but have't got any replies. So can anyone advise me of a different approach, should I go through an agent, if so can any one recommend some, or do I have to wait to I arrive.
thanks
Greetings travellers,
I arrive in Cairo at 6.30am in the morning (Wednesday.. in March) and the fly out to Sharm El Sheik at 1.30pm that afternoon. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I could do for the roughly 5 hours I could use in Cairo. I really dont fancy sitting around the airport for my first hours in egypt.
I was thinking it might be possible to either go to the pyramids or the museum- perhaps by hiring a driver to take me on a round trip??
Does this sound reasonable as far as…
Hey...
Sorry for posting again. But I was hoping that Maybe someone would have heard of either one of these riads?
Dar Vima
or
Dar Moussaine
Any feedback would be great.
We also signed up for a 4 day desert trek with Sahara Services...does anyone have information about them?
I am a bit concerned that their might not be enough camel riding/dunes, as they use 4WD and Camels.
Kindest!
I need to book a flight to Ghana from anywhere in Europe - but I want the absolute cheapest one possible!!!
I have a little competition for you all! He he ... this is my way of making someone else do all the hard work for me :) (Seriously though ... I've tried really hard already)
But .... whoever can find the cheapest airfare for me by friday ......... (drum roll) ....... will get a postcard from me in Ghana! Whoopdeedoo!!!!!
Bear in mind my dates: Arriving 31 May ( /- 5 days) departing 2 July (…
We will be in Capetown, SA at the end of May. We have read differing opinions re:
pre-booking a safari versus going down to Long Street to all of the operators
upon arrival and seeing what is available. We would like to go to Botswana
(Chobe, maybe? The Delta?) as well as up to Vic Falls. Does anyone have any
opinions about this? We are looking for more "adventure" style (ie, camping,
small groups, etc) rather than "luxury."
Thanks!
Going to Morocco on Feb. 17, and left the planning 'till now. Wondering what a suggested itinerary would be. Flying into Casa in the afternoon, and prepared to leave immediately. I've got Fes on the brain, Marrakech for my girlfriend. Figure doing the both would be a bit too hectic.
Is Marrakech enough for that long? Would we want a day's trip to Essouira? Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
I've always said that I would go to Africa, but now that the thought is real, with tentative dates, I'm getting a little worried. I've travelled in Europe, and lived in France for awhile, but I've never travelled somewhere like Africa. I'm female - blonde hair, blue eyes - and the plan is to travel with my female cousin. We're thinking about taking about a year to backpack through. I would like to spend time there and see as much as I can. But the reactions I get when I tell people I'm…
I'm climbing Kili, visiting Zanzibar, safari'ing, and visiting a friend in Congo. Of these places, where and what would you consider buying for souvenirs, memorabilia, and especially unique art work? and favorite purchases? is there any point in buying in zan or dar when i'm headed to arusha, kili and the maasai villages? i don't want to bring back a lot, but would like some of my own priceless memories.
