My girlfriend and I are planning on spending 2 days/nights in Harar in March. Has anyone got any recommendations for accommodation? Bradt seems to suggest that the Belayneh Hotel is a semi-decent option. Alternatively, I have heard that it is possible to arrange stays with families within the old city walls. Has anyone done this and, if so, do they have any recommendations?

Has anyone rented a minibus with driver (a taxi would be too small for our 2 family groups) from Cairo to Nuweiba? We want to leave Cairo early am and make Nuweiba in time to catch the fast ferry to Aqaba the same day.
