Hi - can anyone recommend a company that will do a short (2 day)? Essentially, we are looking for a company who can get the permit for us, transport us from Kigali to Ruhngeri (I know I'm spelling that incorrectly), book the hotel, get us to the start of the trail and back. We'd actually prefer to do this ourselves without a tour company; however, our flight arrives into Kigali at 4 or 5pm and we would therefore be unable to make it to the ORTPN office to pick up our gorilla permits that day…
Hello!
I'm going to Morocco next Tuesday, and have two very different questions.
1. If we are sleeping in Riads and bottom-end hotels, should I bring a towel and sleeping bag?
2. I've heard that Tafraoute is beautiful during Almond blossoming, but the festival in Tafraoute was 7. -11. february. Does that mean that the blossoming is over too? Are there any places nearby that have a festival after the 22nd of february?

Can anyone recommend a good guesthouse in Kibuye? Will be there about three weeks and would like cheap, cheerful but clean (if it's possible!). Is there an internet cafe in Kibuye? What's the most reliable method of getting around? thanks for any help :)
Planning a family trip in August starting in CT -> Garden route -> Addo, then up to Namibia to take in Swakopmund etc. and Etosha. This route would seem to be pretty much malaria-free (with Etosha being the only risk - but low that time of year) and sounds safer (both malaria-wise and crime-wise) than JoBurg and Kruger. Any comments?
Wondering how to 'join' the two parts of the trip - the drive up to Namibia looks a bit far for my kids (6 + 10) and requires a hefty one-way rental fee. It would…

We are spending 2 weeks in Morocco in April - arriving in Marrakesh and taking a couple of days to drive down to Asilah where we will be spending a week.
Lots of questions - starting with car hire in Marrakesh - is it best to book in advance or wait and organise it on the airport - bearing in mind we will be travelling with our 2 children (7 & 10 years) who might not see the fun in being stranded at the airport on day one of their Moroccan adventure?!
Do we need to book accomodation in advance…
Hello there,
While staying in Madagascar, have you done treks for a few days or have you done mostly day-walks ?
If having done treks for a few days, are routes properly marked by signs ? Is it easy to get lost ?
Is home-stay in villages is possible ?
Thanks
After I spend the month of June in Ghana - I plan to fly back to Europe ....
However - I would really like to visit Timbuktu ... and my questions is how many days should I leave at the end of my month's stay that will allow me to get to Timbuktu, spend a couple of days - and get back again?
I don't really have much time to spend, but then again - I don't want to rush the journey and be exhausted and disapointed afterwards.
What is the safest/best way to get to Timbuktu from Ghana? (female…
