I travelled to Kenya last year and got my visa upon arrival at Nairobi airport. took 3 mins or something, really easy. Our company is organizing a meeting there and various Kenyan embassies and travel agents (Europe and US) have been telling my colleagues that it is not possible to get a visa upon arrival. I saw some reports here on the TT that is should still be possible- just wanted to check if there have been any recent changes or if anybody knows why we are being told this is not posisble?

I understand that it should be possible to get visas upon arrival in Cairo (we're US and Dutch passport-holders).
However, I have read a few times now that it is advisable to get it beforehand. What does this mean? To be honest, i don't understand why I would want to waste time and money trying to visit an Egyptian consulate if i can get the visa upon arrival, unless there is a sever chance that I might somehowe not get the visa at the airport.
anybody who can shed some light on this and can…
How necessary is it REALLY to book in advance? From reading up about it I am getting very mixed messages. Some people have advised heavily against booking accomm over the net due to non existant hostels etc. and some people are complaining about everything being booked out?! Is is ok to turn up in places like Fes, Marrakech and Eussouria on the day and easily enough find a…

I was just wondering whether anyone has done this tour before in Morocco http://www.backpackertours.com/microsite.php?TourUID=5701? It is the cheapest i have found so far and lasts for eight days which is a good time limit for me. However, after hearing everyone else's troubles with booking tours over the internet i am not so sure to book it now. Any ideas?
I am planning a 10 days trip to Kenya, probably doing some game parks, some camping and might also include lodging. What is the best luggage type I should bring? Should I take a big backpack and put all my things in there? But then I might need to take it around with me all or most of the time. Or is it more convenient to take a small luggage for all the clothes, heavier stuff, etc and then carry a small backpack for the daily miscellaneous stuff to travel around daily.
Hello!
We are interested in visiting Morocco at the end of June and have begun our initial research... We will begin trying to conceive about 1 month prior to our trip - both of these dates are set. I've done research on vaccinations and will be able to take care of those prior to conception; however, I'm a bit nervous about how things like food poisoning or upset stomach would affect me.
If I take precaution to drink bottled water and not eating from street vendors, are there other precautions…

Has anyone done it in Gaansbaai? Any reasonable well-priced operators out there? And can non-divers do it as well? Is Hermanus a good base to stay? Thank you!
We want to dive in Sodwana Bay next week, just for a day or two. Any recommended operators and sites? Triton Divers seem really cheap. Anyone dived with them? Many thanks!
