I am looking for recommendations/suggestions on how to travel to these two national parks without going through a packaged tour company. Is it possible to book accommodations in Karutu, and join a safari from there? We would take local transportation to Karutu from Arusha and back.
Hi all,
My husband and I are visiting Morocco next month and we're currently planning out our trip. We will be taking the night bus from Merzouga to Fes, which means we will arrive in Fes around 5:30 am. I've asked the riad if they can hold our bags until check in but we may not be able to access a room until the afternoon. What do most people do when they arrive on the overnight bus? It's so dang early!
Does anyone know whether it's possible to visit Marojejy National Park in January? Or will it be too wet?
Thanks
Hello!
I just can't figure out the southern part of my trip.
What I want to do:
-Oasis tour
-Sahara tour (full day or 1 overnight)
-Ksars (somewhere around Matmata)
-Maybe even the salt lake

-Can we arrange these after we arrive there, as I can't see many companies online in Tozeur?
-Did you do the Sahara tour? Any advises? The camps we find are overpriced, actually.
-How can we go see the…

Hi friends,
I need advice. I am going to Morocco with my parents from aug 21-sept 4. They are older - in their 60s. This is their first time going anywhere in the world so I really want to show them a good time - but I know it will be super hot. This was the only time I have off - we are from Canada otherwise.
Can someone give itinerary suggestions? And, is it too hot to go to the desert? I would be so disappointed if I could not take them there.
Hi!
From September, 15 to September, 26, I'll be visiting Tanzania.
My basic idea is to spend my first days visiting
(1) Dar,
(2) Zanzibar (and maybe a few other places in Unguja island), and,
(3) (maybe) Pemba island.
Next, I'm planning on flying to Arusha and, from there, visiting
(4) Ngorongoro crater,
(5) Serengeti National Park, and
(6) Mt. Kilimanjaro.
I have no intention to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. My idea is to spend some hours (of one day) trekking its lower slopes.
I'm considering…
I planned to go to Ghana almost a year ago and I worked at part time jobs whilst studying my masters to afford the flights and pay the program fee. I love travelling and was so excited however after just two weeks I flew home (I was supposed to stay for a month). As I was lied to and left two weeks early I did request a part refund however this was refused. I was told that the money which I gave for my food for the last two weeks had already been spent despite not buying it.
I was told I was…
