I have paid deposit for canoe safari in Zambia, but I only found out afterwards the information on zambia visa is very confusing.
Have anyone recently visited Zambia and know whether it is easy to get a tourist visa on arrival in Lusaka or Livingstone?
I am holding a HK passport.
Urgent for advice and information.

Hi, unfortunately the Zambia web site has been out of action for some time now. It seems likely that you will need to obtain a visa before travel, as China is listed as a country requiring visa before travel You could try mailing the Zambian embassy in Beijing, tourism@zambiaembassy-beijing.com

It is easy for certain passport holders.
Someone was posting the other day saying his wife needed to arrange a visa in advance with a Chinese passport. It looks from here- http://www.zambiatourism.com/travel/traveladvice/visa-immigration-info.htm
as if HK passport holders also need a visa in advance.
