I'd really like to hear from anyone who has visited Victoria Falls in the month of February or end of January. I am particularly interested in what your experience of the weather was like and importantly visibility over the Falls at this time. I realise it's hit and miss and rainfall, wind and time of day can affect visibility but if you could tell me your experience that would be great.

Thanks

I was there around end of January and the weather was fine, warm and sunny. Somebody might correct me but I don't think that's rainy season, the falls weren't totally full. Still absolutely amazing though.

It'll still be the rainy season so some chance of rain, that said I was there for 6 weeks in Feb / March last year and we were only really rained in for a few days.

The Falls are absolutely spectacular that time of year.

You will be at your destination right in the "rainy season" and its not predictable, could be dry or wet.Water over the Falls will not be excessive to ruin viewing, however the Zambezi has a large catchement area rises in N.E corner of Angola and not far from the Congo Republic, so rains within the huge area can effect flow over the Falls.
I lived in Livingstone many years ago when the Falls was Southern & Northern Rhodesia.Best viewing was always in Southern Rhodesia,Devils Catarct,Rain Forest etc - politics have changed the situation now Northern Rhodesia - Zambia seems a better bet. Regardless its the most magnificents Falls in the world. Enjoy
