Hello,
can someone tell me about the validity of the tickets to the Victoria Falls? I would like to visit the Zambian side and to cross to Zimbabwe afterwards (I understand that I will have to buy tickets on the Zambian as well as on the Zimbabwean side). Do I need to buy new tickets if I go back the next day (or in two days)?
Thanks for any information.
Petr

it depends upon that when did you purchase the tickets and from where you purchase them better you call your travel agent :)

Do you mean 'tickets'?? I know you have to buy visas to visit Zimbabwe and Zambia, but 'tickets'? I wasn't aware you need tickets. Who told you this?
To the best of my knowledge: You buy a ticket to see "The Falls" at the gate to"The Falls" - this does not mean you buy tickets to enter Victoria Falls town. Tickets are single, not multiple, entry.
A visa for Zimbabwe can be single or multiple entry but you used to be able to get "day release specials" from the Zimbabwean side so that you could cross and view the Falls from the Zambian side.
There is someone on this forum who is based in the Falls and they will know better.

Yes, I do mean tickets. I heard that if going from Livingstone to Victoria Falls (town) that I have to enter the NP on the Zambian side, cross the boarder to Zimbabwe (buy a visa) and on the other side to enter the Zimbabwean side of the NP - thus, paying twice the entrance fee... Is this wrong? Can I go to Victoria Falls from Livingstone without entering the NP? Thx
The Falls are shared between two different countries - therefore two views, two sets of tickets.
Can I go to Victoria Falls from Livingstone without entering the NP?
VF the town or the Falls themselves?

I mean the town. I am just interest to know what I will have to pay if I go from Livingstone to Victoria Falls (town). Just a visa fee? Or do I have to enter the NP in order to get to the boarder with Zimbabwe and then to the town of Vic. Falls?
There are two parks, Moshi-O-Tunya (the smoke that thunders) park on the Zambian side, Victoria Falls Park on the Zimbabwe side. The bridge is not in the parks, as it is a major route between Zim and Zam. The border posts are at each end of the bridge, thus the bridge is effectively in "no-mans-land” and you can cross from Livingstone town to VF town, without entering either park. Tickets for the parks are "day" tickets. From Zim you can get a day visit visa into Zam for $20US, but you will need a new single visa back into Zim, unless you get a double when first entering Zim. There is no day visa into Zim from Zam, thus full visas for both countries will be required. (note that Zim are noted for altering their visa conditions with little or no notice, so this info is subject to change)
If you just want to visit the bungee jump on the bridge you can get a temporary pass at either end, which allows you onto the bridge and back again at no cost.
