Hi All,

We'll be arriving in Lusaka in the mid-afternoon on a Saturday in August.

We arrive at 2:30pm. There will be six of us who need to go to the hotel.

Do you know if there will be taxis available or do I need to organize an airport pickup?

The airport pickups seem unreasonably expensive (seems like US$25/person). I don't really want to pay $150US to get to the hotel from the airport, so I was hoping that taxis would be there for us to use.

Thanks.

hi there,. it is a long drive from the airport to the city lusaka,. so probably it is worth the money,. but you can arrange a cab driver at the airport, but you need to wait a while,. only if you are lucky they will stand ready to go. mostly cab drivers cost a 100 000 kwacha,. but you need to arrange your price before you start driving! o well,. i would try to arrange with that driver that he will pick you up and drop you of for that same price, 150 dollar is reasonable.
