bus from Lusaka to Chirundu

There are frequent minibuses that leave from Lusaka's main station to Chirundu (depart when full, morning is the best time). You might also be able to buy a ticket on one of the coach buses that pass through Chirundu on the way between Lusaka & Harare. The trip is not long, maybe a couple hours. Contact the lodge to see if someone can pick you up in Chirundu. If it's far up the river, they may pick you up by boat, which would be fun.

Have you been successful and how did you get from Lusaka to the lodge? I have the same issue in two weeks have no idea how frequently these busses leave from city market ...
