Does anyone know if there will be any trouble with entering Zambia with my prescription medication Lorazepam? I'm bringing a copy of my prescription, but I'm worried that I'll be harrassed at the border (I'm passing through several times) and jailed. Does anyone know if Claritin will be an issue too? I don't really want to imagine what life will be like for me without Claritin, and I really can't fly without some Lorazepam, but at the same time, I refuse to spend any time in a filthy jail cell.

What do you think I should do? Will I be okay with Lorazepam (otherwise known as Ativan) so long as it's in an original bottle with a copy of my prescription? Has anyone had any problems with Claritin?

Thanks,

Bored.

If you do as you said you'll be doing (bringing a copy of prescription) there will certainly be no issues at all.

If your prescription is for 2000 2mg tablet then expect trouble!

You'll be fine entering into ZAmbia with prescibed medication - why would it be an issue?

And yes, I've flown in and out and crossed Zambian borders with prescribed drugs and syringes with zero issue.
