Was the price of Gorilla permits reduced in Uganda?

Hi,

I heard that the price of gorilla trek permits in Uganda was reduced from 500 to 250 for non-residents. Does anyone know of this is true or just a rumor?

Gorilla permits are sold at $500 for high seasons, low seasons is $350 for non residents, not $250

The promotional rates for the low season of May, October and November is $350. but still you have to book your permits quite a while in advance. Good Luck
